The San Gabriel barge fleeting and mooring facility stretches along the left bank of the Paraguay River at Km 1633, in Blanco Cué, Asunción. It can accommodate up to 196 Mississippi-type barges or 140 Paraná Jumbo barges, in separate areas for long-stay mooring and operational transit.
The facility operates at ISPS Security Level 1 and manages waste and discharges in accordance with the MARPOL Convention, under an environmental license issued by MADES.

Mooring
Long-stay and transit mooring on concrete anchor points, with synthetic and wire mooring lines, general and directional lighting, guard posts and a floating pier for logistics supply. Standby towboats are available to assist in case of convoy breakaway.

Security and Protection
Round-the-clock coverage of the moorings in the central area, with the capacity to extend to other sections of the Paraguay and Paraná rivers. Fast patrol boats, surveillance drones, a 10-meter watchtower, intruder deterrence equipment and high-resolution CCTV with Starlink connectivity. Interventions are coordinated from our operations center, including escort of sensitive cargo and incident management in accordance with the ISPS Code.

RSO
Recognized Security Organization. We prepare Ship Security Plans (SSP), Port Facility Security Plans (PFSP) and Security Assessments in accordance with the ISPS Code.
04.
Operational Training – GOLF BLUE WOLF
Our personnel receive ongoing training in safe weapons handling, legal framework, self-defense, tactical deployment, boarding control, patrolling and communications, identification of hazardous substances and devices, apprehension of suspects, report writing and first aid.
